I, for one, despise firewalls.
I, for one, HATE censorship.
I, for one, want to go where i want- when i damn well please.
I, for one, love the US Navy.
What does the Us Navy have to do with Internet Censorship? Nothing, but everything at the same time. Some many years ago, the Navy began to see the increasing need for internet security from hackers and/or terrorists. So began using a program codenamed TORVALD after the developer of Linux. This program rerouted all of your internet traffic through a instantaneous network of "Tor Nodes". What this does is it effectively multiplies the possibilties of where the traffic originates. So there 25 to the third power number of routes that the traffic can go through before reaching the destination. For all the blackhats, this is a great tool in order to cover your tracks during those "Security Checks". So what does this have to do with firewalls? What it allows you to do is reroute all of your traffic AROUND the firewall so that any of your special sites are not offlimits.
